BSF Recruitment 2012 – 240 Inspr,SI & JE Vacancies

Border Security Force (BSF), under Ministry of Home Affairs, has issued notification against recruitment of 240 Inspector and SI/JE Group B Vacancies under Civil and Electrical disciplines. Eligible candidates need to apply through prescribed application format on or before 30 days from the date of publication. BSF Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 240
Names of Posts:
1. Inspr (Architect) – 07 vacancies
2. SI/JE (Civil) – 183 vacancies
3. SI/JE (Elect) – 50 vacancies

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be above 20 years for Inspector post and 18 years for SI/JE posts and must be below 25 years for all posts. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 12-04-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates need to possess Degree in Architecture for Inspector post and for SI/JE post, 3 years Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering, form any recognized university.

Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- in form of Demand Draft in favour of DDO HQ DG BSF, payable at SBI Service Branch New Delhi, code no. 7687. SC/ST/EXSM/Departmental candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test, Documentation, Physical Measurement, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test, Interview and Medical Examination.

How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with DD, Copies of all relevant certificates and two self addressed envelopes with Rs. 27/- postal stamp attached, to the following address, The Commandant (Rectt), HQ DG BSF, Block- 10, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi- 110 003 on or before 30 days from date of publication.

Indian Army Recruitment 2011 for Surveryor Automated Cartographer

The epic history of Indian Army dates back to more than ten thousand chequered years. The two epics of ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Mahabharata’ constitute the fundamental framework around which the edifice of Indian Army is built. The massive epic war ‘Mahabharata’, fought at Kurukshetra in north-central India, has left indelible imprints on the Indian psyche. Fought relentlessly for eighteen days in quest of peace, the force level described in the Epic states 18 ‘Akshaunis’, seven with the ‘Pandavas’ and eleven with the ‘Kauravas’, amounting to nearly 400,000 assorted troops fighting on chariots, horses, elephants and foot soldiers.

Job Details
Qualification The minimum educational qualification for appointment will be BA / B.Sc with Mathematics, having passed 12th class (10+2) or equivalent with Science and Mathematics as main subjects from a Recognized Board / University.

Total Number of Vacancies: A total of 15 (Fifteen) vacancies will be filled in.
Age Limit : 20 to 25 years as on First day of Recruitment Rally. Candidates are requested to contact nearest recruiting office/Zone for date of recruitment Rally.

Medical Standards : The candidate should have robust physique and be of sound mental health. Chest should be well developed having minimum 5 cm expansion. The candidate should have normal hearing with each ear, have sufficient number of natural teeth, i.e.14 dental points and healthy gums and should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele, varicose veins or piles. The candidate should be in medical category SHAPE-1 in terms of Special Army Order 6/S/2005/Rtg dated 05 Aug 2005 as amended from time to time.

Minimum Physical Standards : Minimum physical standards will be as applicable to the Soldier General Duty category and these vary depending upon the region of the country. The country has been divided into six regions, e.g. Western Himalayan Region , Eastern Himalayan Region, Western Plains Region, Eastern Plains Region, Central Region and Southern Region. The details can be obtained from the nearest HQ Recruiting Zone / Army Recruitment Office.

How to Apply
Candidates may complete their application as per the given format will be addressed to concerned Headquarters Recruiting Zone/IRO, Delhi Cantt/ Gorkha Recruiting Depot, Kunraghat on or before 25th December, 2011. Write “ Application for Surveyor Automated Catographer” on top of the envelope containing application. Application may be handwritten or typed on A4 size paper in the prescribed format. Affix your recent passport size photograph without sun glasses at the space provided in the application form. Photograph taken with Polaroid camera or computer print will not be accepted. An additional self attested photograph also be submitted along with application form. Enclose two self addressed stamped Registered envelopes issued by the Department of Post & Telegraph giving your present address with PIN Code on which acknowledgment/ call up notice/rejection slip is to be sent. A candidate whose application has been rejected earlier may apply again if eligible/ age permits. All incomplete applications will be rejected.

Age : 16 and half to 19 and half years i.e. born between 01 Jan 1993 and and 01 Jan 1996 (both days inclusive)

Physical Standard: min. height 152 cm and weight 42 kg., better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18

Type of Commission : On susccessful completion of 4 years of the course cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt. in Arms/Services as per discretion of Army Hq.
Pay Scale : Candidates will be entitled to pay sclae of Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.5400 plus MSP Rs.6000 and other allowances.

Method of Selection: Only selected (shortlisted) candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore for fives selection process. In which candidates will be put through Psychological test, Group Test and Interview.
