Applications are invited from Male and female candidates for filling up of the Male and Female posts in the District Police Cadre in the rank of constable in Punjab Police. :

  • Constable Male : 3726 posts in various districts of  Punjab  
  • Constable Female : 2000 posts in various districts of  Punjab
  • Pay Scale : Rs. 5910-20200 Grade pay Rs. 2000/-, Age : 18-25 years as on 01/01/2011, Qualification : 10+2 in any discipline or equivalent.

How to Apply  : The application form in the prescribed format  filled in all aspects with necessary documents  in case of male candidates must reach the Chairman, District Recruitment Boards (__________) (Name of District for which the applicant applies) to 17/10/2011.

Become a Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer in Executive Branch (General Service – GS) and Technical Branch – July 2012 Course Applications are invited from unmarried Male Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Executive Branch (General Service) and Technical Branch of the Indian Navy for July 2012 Course.

Eligibility Conditions:

  • Age : Between 19 & 1/2 to 25 years for Technical General Service /Submarine Cadre and Executive (GS) Cadre , Between  21 and 25 years for Naval Architecture Cadre

Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400 and MSP Rs.6000

SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.
